We can't stress the advantage of developing your website in-house enough. The issue is not the poor communication and discrepancy in business hours that large agencies face when dealing with workers in a third world country, but the resulting compartmentalized approach to development, leaving you with a patchwork website that is prone to errors and security holes and loads slowly. Google has recently introduced the loading speed of websites as a factor in determining which ones will be displayed first when someone searches for your Hawaii business as explained in
this Forbes article. By designing the site as a cohesive whole around your needs, we streamline all code and database queries to their absolute minimal form to ensure maximum loading speeds, rather than simply installing one stock third party theme and plugin after another. Bad developers take 20 times as long to write a codebase, while great engineers write 400% less code that runs at 900% the speed. Our design and branding principles are minimalism, speed, and efficiency.

What values do you share?
The practice of branding is thought to have begun with the ancient Egyptians who were known to have engaged in livestock branding as early as 2,700 BCE. Branding was used to differentiate one person’s cattle from another's by means of a distinctive symbol burned into the animal’s skin with a hot branding iron. If a person stole any of the cattle, anyone else who saw the symbol could deduce the actual owner. However, the term has been extended to mean a strategic personality for a product or company, so that ‘brand’ now suggests the values and promises that a consumer may perceive and buy into. Over time, the practice of branding objects extended to a broader range of packaging and goods offered for sale including oil, wine, cosmetics and fish sauce.
